    Best all-around hunting scope

Posted by John Duhon on May 27th 2020

I was looking for an all-around hunting scope, something I could use in tight woods for under 100 yards and also take out to open areas for 300+ yard shots. I also wanted excellent low-light visibility. With this scope you get it all. I love the clarity of the glass, the industrial grade rings that came with it, and the 56mm objective lens. At pre-dawn or dusk conditions, when looking in this scope, it appears as though you turned on the light as it is much brighter than with binoculars or the naked eye. Eye relief is exceptional, just so comfortable to use with my rifle (Tikka T3x Lite .308). This reticle is probably my favorite in the industry. All in all, Osprey knocked it out of the park with this one. I own several scopes, but if I just had to buy one all-around scope that would handle 90 percent of the hunting I would do - this would be it.
